About Our Practice

Harnos Optometry is a full-scope primary care practice nestled in the heart of New Paltz, NY, a vibrant college town in the Hudson Valley known for its outdoor culture, arts scene, and tight-knit community. Our newly renovated office is modern, welcoming, and designed with both patient comfort and provider efficiency in mind.

Our team includes three doctors, a fourth-year SUNY Optometry extern, a practice manager, and a full optical staff. We see patients of all ages with a broad mix of comprehensive care and medical eye disease. The pace is intentional, two patients per hour, so you can actually practice the way you were trained to, without feeling rushed.

Whether you're drawn to hiking, the local food scene, or simply a slower pace than the city, the Hudson Valley delivers.
