About Our Practice
We are seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our practice in New Rochelle, NY.
This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist looking to join a welcoming, patient-focused practice where quality of care and work-life balance are genuine priorities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent eye care while building strong, lasting relationships with patients.
We are currently considering candidates for a part-time/fill-in coverage.
Our practice utilizes modern diagnostic and clinical technology along with streamlined electronic health records, allowing our doctors to focus on what matters most: providing thoughtful, efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye and vision care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities include:
-Performing comprehensive eye examinations
-Diagnosing and managing ocular disease
-Prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses
-Providing pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
-Maintaining accurate and thorough electronic patient records
-Developing strong relationships with patients through excellent clinical care and communication
-Collaborating with staff to provide an efficient and positive patient experience
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
Current New York State optometry license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional, dependable, and ethical approach to patient care
Ability to communicate effectively with patients from a wide variety of backgrounds
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Interest in continued professional and clinical development
