Mobile Optometrist – FT- Senior Living Communities- Richmond Hill, NY

We are seeking a licensed Optometrist to provide on-site eye care at multiple senior living communities. This is a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive eye exams in a supportive, fully equipped environment.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
   
• $700 per day + $1,000 monthly transportation stipend
   
• Locations within a 5-mile radius, rotating 1 day at each community
   

Locations:

• Kew Gardens: 117-01 84th Ave, Richmond Hill, NY
   
• Forest Hills: 112-50 72nd Ave, Forest Hills, NY
   
• West 86th Street: 333 W 86th St, New York, NY
   
• Lynbrook: 100 Peninsula Blvd, Lynbrook, NY
   

Responsibilities:

• Conduct eye exams for approximately 20 patients per day
   
• Work with trained technicians who perform all preliminary testing
   
• Provide care in fully set-up exam rooms including:
   
  • Refractor
     
  • Slit lamp
     
  • B-scan
     
  • Visual fields (VF)
     
  • Paper chart
     

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Optometrist with experience in primary care, ocular disease, and senior care
   
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile setting
   
• Compassionate and patient-focused, with excellent communication skills

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree 
• Valid state license to practice optometry
