We are looking for an Associate Optometrist to join our team in Yonkers. We utilize state of the art technology, including Optomap, AR/NCT, and Marco digital refracting system.
New grads with a valid OD license are encouraged to apply!
Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis/treatment plans
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiar or willing to learn RT6100, analysis of Optomap images, and contact lens fittings
