Position Overview:
We are seeking an independent, creative, and patient-focused Visionary Optometrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional care, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and innovative treatment methods to enhance the patient experience. We use Marcos technology, automated digital phoropters, and have advanced Slit Lamps. We also have Amniotic Membranes & the FDA Approved Optilight IPL device for Dry Eye Treatment. We also employ Widefield Optos Retinal Imaging & Virtual Visual Field Testing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Prescribe and fit a wide range of contact lenses, including specialty lenses.
  • Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, with a strong focus on managing dry eye syndrome.
  • Utilize IPL technology and amniotic membranes for advanced treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure patient-centric efficiency and care.
  • Stay current with advancements in optometry and integrate new techniques and treatments into practice.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • Active optometry license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on comprehensive patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • A commitment to continuing education and professional development.
