About Our Practice
We are a 53 year old privately owned multi-disciplinary practice with 8 doctors. We have state of the art facilities with the latest diagnostic equipment in each of 3 locations. We enjoy a strong relationship with our local physicians and ophthalmologists.
The principal owner, Dr. Chris Moshoures, has retired from the exam room but, with the help a fabulous management staff, oversees patient relationships, community involvement and the quality of care received in the three offices. We are looking for a doctor who enjoys all aspects of primary care and who can relate to a broad patient base - the very young to our large retirement community.

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented OD to join our growing practice! You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal OD candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset. You will work closely with our front desk, Optometrist, Opticians, and Scribe to ensure a smooth practice flow.
Your regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
- Handle eyecare emergencies
Utilize the latest technology and equipment, including:
- OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
- Optomap
- Visual Field Testing
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Open to New Graduates
