OPTOMETRIST (OD) — FULL TIME
Full-Scope Optometry & Ophthalmology Practice
About North Dakota Eye Clinic
North Dakota Eye Clinic is an established, independent private practice with deep roots in the Grand Forks community. We are not a corporate chain or private equity-owned group — we are a physician-led, mission-driven clinic where clinical autonomy and patient-centered care are at the heart of everything we do.
Our integrated optometry and ophthalmology model is rare in this region and offers our ODs an exceptional breadth of clinical experience. You will work side-by-side with our ophthalmologist daily, gaining exposure to surgical cases and complex medical eye care that simply isn't available in a traditional optometry-only setting.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Doctor of Optometry to join our team. This is a full-scope position where you will practice at the top of your license in a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether you are a recent graduate eager to develop advanced clinical skills or an experienced OD seeking a more dynamic practice setting, this role offers the depth and breadth to grow your career.
Clinical Breadth & Scope of Practice
Our clinic offers one of the most comprehensive OD scopes of practice in the region:
• Cataract surgery and LASIK co-management
• Premium IOL co-management, including light adjustable lenses
• Dry eye clinic — diagnosis and advanced treatment protocols
• Myopia control programs
• Full optical and contact lens services, including specialty contact lenses
• Medical eye care in direct collaboration with our ophthalmologist
Professional Growth & Learning Environment
The integrated MD/OD model at North Dakota Eye Clinic provides daily exposure to surgical cases and advanced ocular disease management that sets us apart. You will develop clinical skills through real-world collaboration with our ophthalmologist — an opportunity that is invaluable for any OD who wants to continuously grow and practice comprehensive, high-level eye care.
