An established private optometry practice serving the Elyria community for over 45 years is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Optometrist to join its team. What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive primary eye care for patients ages 5 and older, including:
- Comprehensive eye examinations
- Glaucoma diagnosis and management
- Ocular disease management
- Dry eye evaluation and treatment
- Contact lens fittings, including soft and specialty contact lenses
- Prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Patient education on vision and eye health
You'll have the flexibility to determine your patient schedule, typically seeing between 10 and 17 patients per day, allowing you to practice at your own pace while delivering exceptional care.
Technology & Equipment
Practice with the support of modern optometric equipment, including:
- Visual Field Analyzer
- Slit Lamp
- Phoropter
- Autorefractor
- Auto Lensometer
- Standard diagnostic equipment for comprehensive eye care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Ohio optometry license (or eligibility for licensure)
- New graduates and experienced Optometrists are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation structure designed to reward your productivity, including:
- Guaranteed daily compensation
- Production-based earning opportunity
- You receive whichever compensation model results in the higher earnings
- Production is based on professional services—not optical sales
