Riverside Eye Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team as a full time or part time optometrist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders. The Optometrist will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through effective communication and exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of medical records, anatomy, physiology, and patient care systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and evaluate patients for contact lenses.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit.
- Provide education to patients regarding eye health and preventative care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage pediatric patients with special considerations for their unique needs.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
- Utilize medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims processing.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice optometry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and systems related to eye health.
- Experience with medical records management and coding is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation Package:
