Wooster Eye Center is a growing Ophthalmology practice and surgery center in Wooster, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, excellent clinical skills, and a thorough understanding of ocular health. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual disorders, prescribing corrective lenses and taking an equitable part in the call rotation. The practice is known for delivering a pleasant and thorough eye care experience with a focus on expert care. We are seeking a dynamic doctor eager to grow with the practice and support the ongoing business expansion in our busy practice.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure to practice optometry.
  • ABO (American Board of Optometry) Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, optical systems, and ophthalmology principles.
  • Experience in patient care with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Sales experience is a plus, particularly in the optical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year as well as an annual bonus.
