Optometrist – Full-Time – Oklahoma City, OK & Surrounding Areas

Mobile Geriatric Eye Care (1099)| Monday–Friday | No Weekends | $180K+

A unique and rewarding opportunity is available for an Optometrist to join a provider-focused mobile eye care practice serving nursing homes and long-term care facilities throughout the Oklahoma City region. Scope of Practice

Provide comprehensive medical eye care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, including:

  • Comprehensive eye examinations 
  • Diabetic eye care 
  • Glaucoma diagnosis and management 
  • Macular degeneration management 
  • Cataract evaluations 
  • Dry eye treatment 
  • Eye infection diagnosis and treatment 
  • Refractive care and eyeglass prescriptions 
  • Follow-up medical care 
  • Vision assessments related to activities of daily living 

This position offers a medically focused practice with virtually all encounters billed through medical insurance.

Technology & Equipment

You'll have access to advanced portable diagnostic equipment, including:

  • Portable slit lamps 
  • Digital refractors 
  • Retinal photography 
  • Visual field testing 
  • Corneal topography 
  • Pachymetry 
  • Ultrasound technology 
  • Electrodiagnostic testing 
  • Ocular imaging 
  • BlephEx technology 
  • Additional mobile diagnostic tools 

All equipment and logistical support are provided.

Team Support

Providers are supported by an experienced team that assists with:

  • Scheduling 
  • Patient coordination 
  • Insurance processing 
  • Medical records 
  • Clinical support 
  • Optical services 

You'll work independently while seeing patients, but with the backing of a highly collaborative organization dedicated to helping providers succeed.

Who We're Looking For

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree 
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Oklahoma 
  • New graduates and experienced ODs encouraged to apply 
  • Strong communication and patient relationship skills 
  • Comfortable working independently 
  • Interest in medical optometry and geriatric care 
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
