Optometrist Opportunity at Canby Eyecare – Maternity Leave Coverage (July 2025 - October 2025)
Are you an optometrist seeking a temporary yet fulfilling position with a well-established and patient-focused practice? Canby Eyecare is looking for a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team for 3-4 days per week from July 2025 through October 2025 to provide coverage during maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities
As a primary care optometrist at Canby Eyecare, you will:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions, including myopia, glaucoma, and dry eye.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients about their visual needs.
- Co-manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (OCT, ERG, VF, topography, retinal imaging, etc.) to ensure accurate assessments.
- Provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on communication and education.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Key Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active Oregon optometry license (or ability to obtain one prior to start).
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in primary eye care services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for providing high-quality, personalized patient care.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic technology is a plus.
