Part Time opportunity for Full-Scope Optometrist in an Urban Setting; not limited to: refractions, Contact Lens fitting, Interpreting OCT/VF, Punctal Plugs, Epilation, Foreign Body Removal, Dry eye treatment, Diabetic Eye Exams, Emergency exams, etc.
Average about 13 exams per day, can range from 12-16 exams a day, 10am-5pm.
Medical background / Residency Preferred but optional, Open to motivated new graduates, Speaking second language can be useful but not a requirement (Spanish, Vietnamese, or French/creole).
Compensation depends on level of skill, starting at $500 per diem.
Looking for someone to cover Fridays/ Saturdays every week. Could potentially do Tuesdays if looking for more days.
We have paper charts (single page for exam, one page for billing), but after the chart is complete it is uploaded to an electronic system for reference. Currently a solo-private practice. We are medically focused so we take medical insurance for exams.
