Optician Position – Higashi Eyewear (Lemoyne, PA)
Optician position available immediately at Higashi Eyewear, a boutique, fashion-forward optical located in Lemoyne, PA. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-end optical environment focused on styling, premium eyewear, and a personalized client experience.
Higashi has built a strong reputation over the years, generating approximately $790k in annual revenue without an in-house doctor. We are excited to continue and grow this brand with a focus on elevated service, curated eyewear, and relationship-based care.
This role is ideal for an optician who enjoys fashion, styling, and working in a lower-volume, high-value sales environment.

About the Role:
This is a very different environment than traditional optical settings:
· No vision insurance
· Lower volume, high-end sales model
· Approximately 3–5 jobs per day
· Strong emphasis on fashion, styling, and client relationships
· Majority female clientele (~65–70%)
· Premium product mix
This is an ideal position for an optician who may be feeling burnt out in high-volume, insurance-driven practices and is looking for a more personalized and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities Include:
· Frame selection and styling with clients
· Optical sales and lens education (progressives, AR, premium lenses, etc.)
· Delivering a concierge-level client experience
· Adjustments, fittings, and troubleshooting eyewear
· Order entry and prescription verification
· Managing jobs from order to dispense
· Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing optical space
Position Structure:
· Flexible schedule, approximately 20–40 hours per week
· Tuesday–Saturday coverage (closed Mondays)
· Strong need for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday availability
Compensation:
· Competitive base pay based on experience
