Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our team, with part-time options available. The ideal candidate will provide primary eye care to our diverse patient base in a well-equipped office featuring a brand new Marco/Nidek exam lane and autorefractor. This position offers a schedule of Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends required.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Valid state optometry license
- Experience fitting contact lenses is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of optical products and services
- Ability to recommend premium products to all patients
