In additon to primary eyecare and specialty contact lens care, we have a busy glaucoma and ocular surface disease center, a TBI, and BV center.  Our primay care patients and their familes present with a wide range of anterior and posterior segment disease. Our secondary care center receives a steady flow of emergency patients from our own patient base and several local walk ins and various specialties in our local community.

The best canidate will be personable, present as a confident and competent clinician and be able to manage a wide range of conditions. We feature a solid infrastructure  consisting of established systems, competent techs and the back up of experienced colleagues. We are growing our myopia controll and BV programs.  The main center is in suburban East Providence, just 3 miles outside of Providene, and is complementd by 4 centers in surrounding towns.

About the Practice

Each OD works at the primay  center and one to two shifts per week in one of our local satellites. We serve a largely professional, employed patient base many presenting with the eye care and vision care needs of a maturing population. Patients are scheduled at 20 to 30 minute intervals allowing each OD to work comfortably at their own pace.  In addition to planned comprehensive eye care, schedules are sprinked with 5 + eye emergencies daily many of which will challenge you clinically.  Optometric specialty referrals are common to our  weekly specialty clinics.

We cater the schedule and hours according to each doctors personal preference. Seeing 15 to 20 patients per day with dedicated technician support creates a nice flow, low stress and professional support allowing you to set a comfortable flow. Generally one's nearning potential is based on compentency, volume and work ethic.

Our clinical staff and opticians align nicely with our brand and  our diagnostic clinical instruments allow you to be on top of your game whether your focus is optical or medical.  Supportive colleagues, competent staff and solid systems allow a patient flow model that adds greatly to your overall experience When combining this flexibility  with great patients, spacious exam rooms, diagnostic technology and Compulink. it creates a  comfortable pace.

Compensation and Benefits

Our base package is 165K while our top producers flirt with 170 K to 180 K,  working less than 40 hours per week. The benefits and working conditions are fantastic and largely up to you. Residency trained, or experience ODs would do well here, however we also can support a new graduate.

We  always place emphasis on how to work smarter, ongoing learning and growing  your patient and specialty base, building referrals and  something special along the way.  In addition to the base compensation  benefits, HSA, 401k, CE and  PTO and health and denta plans exist.
