About the Opportunity
This is a private practice with sub-specialties in a profesional setting. Our 6 OD team serve staggered shits to create a nice workflow in a ten lane center. Many established systems, provide the infrastructure and resources to deliver quality care to a robust primary care enviroment. The main center is in suburban East Providence, 3 miles outside of Providene, RI is complementd by 4 centers in areas in surrounding upscale towns.
About the Practice
Each OD works as the primay OD in athe main center along with a senior OD in 6 to 8 hours shifts providing, prompt professional care, real patient connections, along with a professional staff. OD earning potential is largley uncapped based on compentency and work ethic. In addition to planned comprehensive eye care, care schedules are sprinked with 5 to 10 eye emergencies daily. Optometric specialite referrals are common place.
You will enjoy extreme flexibility in the "when", "where" and the "way" you practice. Seeing 15 to 20 patients per day with dedicated technician support creates a nice flow, clincial challengea and professional support.
Our clinical staff and opticians align nicely with our brand and diagnostic clinical instruments allow you to be on top of your game whether your focus is optical or medical. Supportive colleagues, competent staff and solid systems allow a patient flow model that adds greatly to your overall experience and satisfaction.
Spacious exam rooms, working equipment and Compulink E H R combined with a somewhat upscale patient base are important considerations in how and where we spend our energy and if this might be the place for you!
We are less than an hour from Boston and minutes from the Providence airport. There are many attractions such as beach, nature, mountains, citym, travel, hike and many professionals residing here. The patient mix leans towards a professional type of refractive, medical, and specialty patients from an educated and employed community that appreciate working with our top level of care, quality and a professional team allowing for continued professional networking and growth.
Compensation and Benefits
Our base package is in the negihborhood of 165K while our top producers flirt with 175 K to 195 K, working less than 40 hours per week. The benefits and working conditions are fantastic and largely up to you.
We are open to reward ODs with experience and those who show great promise. We always place emphasis on how to work smarter, growing your patient and specialty base, building referrals and something special along the way. In addition to the base compensation benefits, 401K, PTO are added to a signing bonus or moving assistance.

- Opportunities - We have existing and evolving optometric specialties including a top notich visiting cataract surgeon. Our ODs have tremendous experience above routine care. This includes a developed clinical experience in optometric retina, cornea, and contact lenses. We have advanced plus the old-school stuff like complex Contact Care, and Ophthalmic technologies for all imaginable refractive anomalies. A Myopia Control Program is in operation. We have a very solid BV and team approach to vision care.
