Optometrist – Full Time – Full Scope Private Practice – Sioux Falls, SD
Licensed ODs and upcoming new graduates apply!
A thriving optometry practice is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join a collaborative team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incoming doctor will work between two locations just 15 minutes apart, with time typically split approximately 50/50 between both clinics.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who wants to practice full-scope medical optometry with strong clinical autonomy, modern technology, and excellent technician support.
Saturday coverage is required only once every four weeks.
About the Practice
This practice operates with a private practice model, allowing doctors to practice with autonomy while benefiting from the stability of a well-established organization. Although the offices are located inside retail store front locations, the doctors operate independently with no corporate oversight directing clinical care.
The practice currently has four optometrists, and the incoming doctor will become the fifth OD. The doctors maintain a collaborative environment where they frequently consult with each other on patient cases and support one another clinically.
The team includes 32 total staff members across both locations, including experienced technicians and opticians. Each OD works with their own assigned technician who performs all pretesting and workups, allowing doctors to focus on patient care.
Ownership is progressive and willing to invest in new technology, providing doctors the opportunity to grow specialty interests and expand the medical side of the practice.
