Join a growing, medically focused optometry practice providing comprehensive, technology-supported eye care throughout the Austin area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish-speaking Optometrist who enjoys a mix of routine and medical optometry and wants to make a meaningful impact on the long-term eye health of their patients.
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity
- PT or FT position, 3–5 days per week
- Typical schedule around 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 2 Saturdays per month for FT
- Opportunity to work primarily at the South Austin location, with occasional coverage at nearby locations as needed
- Approximately 15–16 patients per day
- Balanced patient mix of approximately 50% routine and 50% medical
- See patients of all ages
- Strong support staff, including approximately two technicians per location and front desk support
- Opportunity to practice with a high degree of clinical autonomy

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive and medical eye care, including:
- Comprehensive eye examinations
- Contact lens examinations and fittings
- Specialty contact lenses
- Dry eye management
- Myopia management
- Glaucoma
- Macular degeneration
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Eye emergencies
- LASIK co-management
- Cataract co-management
- Eye disease management
- Patient education and ongoing medical care
Advanced Technology
Utilize modern diagnostic technology, including:
- Optos retinal imaging
- OCT
- Visual fields
- Autorefractor
- Manual phoropters
- Additional diagnostic technology to support comprehensive medical eye care
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
- Fluent Spanish speaker required — must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
- Open to new graduates and experienced Optometrists
- Strong interest in both routine and medical optometry
- Comfortable managing ocular disease and medical eye care
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable interacting with walk-in patients and contributing to a smooth office flow
- Patient-focused and team-oriented
