About the Practice
Our privately-owned, OD-Owned, optometry office in Leander, TX (just 20 minutes north of Austin) is seeking a skilled and personable Optometrist to join our expanding practice. We're looking for a team player with a friendly demeanor and strong clinical skills. As an Optometrist, your responsibilities will include conducting vision assessments, diagnosing vision issues, and prescribing corrective lenses and glasses. To excel in this role, attention to detail and a compassionate approach with patients are essential. Applicants must hold a valid OD license in Texas to be considered.
Our practice features multiple exam rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital phoropters, OCT, Optomap, Topographer, and more. All preliminary testing is handled by our support staff, and we use Revolution EHR.
About the Optometrist Position
Our new optometrist will be a welcome addition to our team and family who is both personable and welcoming to our patients. A passion for providing the best total vision care is essential to providing the best experience we can!
As an optometrist in our practice, you will be expected to:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Build strong doctor-patient relationships
- Handle eyecare emergencies
- Work experience as an Optometrist or Extern New Grad
- Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as ophthalmoscope and tonometer

What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- An Optometry License in the state you will be practicing
