Optometrist - Full-Time Float - Private Practice - Alexandria, VA

Our practice has been proudly serving the Alexandria area for decades. We’re expanding our team and
looking for a caring and reliable optometrist who enjoys delivering high-quality eye care.

Do what you love - We know that first and foremost, you want to provide the best care to
your patients. We provide our doctors with trained staff, state-of-the-art-equipment and
ample time to deliver the best care: we average 1.9 exams per hour.
Environment
Friendly, experienced staff: You’ll have the full support of our office staff, ensuring that
you’re able to focus on doing your job as efficiently as possible. Our technicians perform the
pretesting, and you’ll have the support of our office manager and additional staff as well.
Our typical doctor hours are:
o M-F 10:00 (first appt.) – 6:00 or 6:20 (last appt.)
o Sat 9:00 (first appt.) – 4:00 (last appt.)
o Closed Sundays
Equipment for your Success - You’ll be working with a fully equipped and updated office,
including:
o Optos
o Autorefractor
o Autokeratometer
o Electronic medical records - Eyefinity
Salary & Benefits
Comprehensive Compensation - We take care of our team like we take care of our
patients. We have a very generous pay and benefits package, with no cap on compensation.
In 2025, our pay range was $145,000 to $201,000.
Full Benefits Package: Our benefits package includes:
