Private practice looking for an associate optometrist. We are a practice located in Newport News, VA and we are growing.
About the Position
The position is open for full-time employment or if desired--part-time is also available with a flexible schedule. Friendly and fully trained staff handle pre-testing, medical prior authorization, and referral to external sources among other duties.
About the Practice
Our practice focuses on one-on-one doctor-patient interaction and quality care. We are mostly primary care with some medical office visits/red eyes. We have new and updated equipment that includes ancillary testing such as:
- Corneal Topography
- Optos (wide field retina photos/OCT combo) which is performed in ALL annual exams to help the doctor better diagnose and treat eye condition.

Compensation
- Competitive salary starting at 130,000 per year with additional bonus potential.
