Responsibilities
- performing eye examinations of the internal and external structure of the eyes
- promoting overall eye health
- cataract and refractive surgery co-management
- diagnose ocular disease and vision disorders
- counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- Ability to obtain Virginia Licensure
