Optometrist - Full-time/ Part Time - Medically-Oriented Private Practice ( No Weekends) - Winchester, VA

We have a growing patient base and enjoy seeing a wide range of patients from families to senior citizens. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part Time Optometrist to join our family!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
- Valid VA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
- Our ideal candidate has a patient first mentality, thorough and efficient and knowledgeable with ocular disease cases and patients.

Exposure: As a doctor in our practice, you will have the opportunity to practice full-scope medical care, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, scleral lenses and both anterior and posterior care –we concentrate on specialties and have a heavy medical and primary care base.
Environment: Our new OD will have another OD on site at most times. You’ll have access to two and a half exam lanes, a refracting technician for pretesting, and the support of our friendly, experienced staff to help streamline your day. Likewise, you will have everything you need to be successful with our state-of-the-art technology, including:
- OCT- Used for Anterior and Posterior segment imaging
- Humphrey Visual field
- California Optos Fundus Imaging (with Autofluorescence)
- Amniotic membranes
- A variety of soft contact lenses
- Scleral lens fitting kit (optional- only if you enjoy fitting speciality lenses)
- EHR- Revolution
Schedule: This is a fantastic full-time or Part Time opportunity where you will be only working Monday- Friday hours and no weekends! The hours are 8AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 9AM-5PM and we only schedule 2 patients an hour, giving our doctors anywhere between 30-40 minutes per patient so they can provide specialized care.
