Specialty Eye is expanding our doctor team! We’re looking for an optometrist who loves primary care but is most energized by specialty work—specifically myopia management, dry eye, and specialty contact lenses. If at least two of those areas light you up, you’ll fit right in.

We are a recognized leader in specialty eye care across the Pacific Northwest, supported by an exceptional referral network of primary care practices. Our mission is simple yet powerful:

To enrich people’s lives so they can reach their greatest potential.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • You’ll practice alongside leaders in specialty care using the latest science-based protocols.

  • You’ll be supported by a collaborative clinical team, including a cornea & contact lens resident and an awesome team

  • You’ll enjoy the freedom to build a thriving specialty niche with the mentorship and infrastructure already in place.

  • You’ll join a mission-driven culture that values growth, education, and clinical excellence.

Your Role

  • Provide comprehensive primary eye care to patients seeking our expertise.

  • Deliver specialty care in at least two of the following areas: myopia management, dry eye/eyesthetics, and specialty contact lenses.

  • Participate in case collaboration, resident teaching, and continuing education events.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients and referral partners.

  • Contribute ideas that advance specialty services and elevate patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.

  • Strong communication and patient relationship skills.

  • Passionate about continual learning and purposeful practice.

  • A positive, team-first attitude. You make work fun and meaningful.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $150,000–$175,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Bonus potential based on specialty service growth

  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, retirement plan with employer contributions, paid CE, and generous time off

  • Relocation stipend for those moving to the Seattle area

  • Mentorship directly aligned with Dr. David Kading’s specialty protocols and treatment philosophies
