Our established private practice is looking to add a full-time Optometrist to our growing team! Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced OD, you'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality, full-scope care in a supportive environment that allows you to focus on your patients while building a rewarding career.
What You'll Need
- Valid West Virginia Optometry license (or ability to obtain one)
- New graduates and upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply

Why You'll Love This Opportunity
Exposure
- Practice full-scope optometry. You'll primarily provide comprehensive primary eye care while having the opportunity to incorporate specialty services if desired.
- Work alongside experienced support staff who perform patient workups and assist with documentation, allowing you to spend more time focused on patient care.
- See approximately 2–3 patients per hour, giving you the ability to provide personalized care while maintaining an efficient schedule.
- Full-time schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Practice with modern diagnostic technology, including:
- OCT
- Visual Field
- Slit Lamps
- Fully equipped exam lane with full-scope optometric equipment
Environment
Supportive, patient-centered practice: You'll be supported by two experienced staff members who assist with both technician duties and front desk responsibilities. While you'll typically practice independently, you'll occasionally work alongside the practice's physician, creating a collaborative environment while maintaining clinical autonomy. The practice has built a strong reputation within the community and values quality patient care above all else.
