About the Practice
Milwaukee Eye Care offers a full range of comprehensive vision services, including:
- Advanced cataract surgery with premium IOLs
- LASIK and ICL refractive surgeries
- Intravitreal injections
- iLux dry eye treatments
- Contact lens fittings, including RGP and scleral lenses
- Complete optical shop services with experienced opticians
We serve southeastern Wisconsin from four convenient and modern locations: Bayside, Brookfield, Franklin, and Milwaukee. Our offices feature state-of-the-art technology such as the Cirrus OCT, Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Galilei topography/tomography, Lenstar, and more. Our highly trained clinical and administrative support staff, including patient education specialists, allow you to focus on what matters most: providing exceptional care to your patients.
Our clinics are open Monday to Friday, and there are no evening or weekend hours.
About the Position
This is a part-time position, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside four optometrists and four ophthalmologists, including subspecialists in oculoplastic, cornea, and glaucoma care. Our ophthalmologist practice owners support ongoing professional growth and education.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive eye exams with a strong emphasis on patient education
- Utilizing advanced office technology to deliver high-quality care
- Fitting RGP and scleral contact lenses, and managing anterior segment conditions
- Managing pre- and post-operative care for LASIK, PRK, ICL, and cataract patients
- Diagnosing, treating, and monitoring conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and cataracts
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Enthusiastic about delivering patient-centered care
- Interest and passion for medical optometry
